Default loud banging after level kit on 2wd

I put on a 2" truxxx level kit and put in the new shocks. this was about 2-3 weeks ago. Everytime I go over a speed bump or my front gets fully extended like a big hump in the road or something I hear a loud pop coming from the front of my truck. The level kit it steele, not rubber. Could it be the metal on metal banging on each other as there is nothing in between the spacer and the spring? any help would be appreciated.

Ive never liked those metal spacers but to each thier own. It could be the shocks maxed out. How much clearance do you have between the UCA and spring bucket?

You need more travel in your shocks, your topping out, that's all it is. It's not causing any damage but it'll start to get old fast.

2wd or 4x4? Im thinking its like mine, the shocks arnt maxing out, the UCA is hitting the spring bucket and the trucks front wheels are actually coming off the ground for a split second after the shocks are compressed.

Mine is ridiculous over train tracks/speed bumps. And it hasnt gone away (but 08ram says his is gone)

They are horrible over tracks also. But over small bumps in the road it is fine.

yea man, try the stock shocks back in there. I have longer shocks and have this problem, but heard that stock shocks will keep the UCA from contacting the spring bucket.

Me and cowboy have a thread on this, its like 4 pages long. lol. It does suck, and it will get somewhat better, but mine still does it. It looks alot better but almost isnt worth it due to the clunk. I got rid of my stock shocks though, try that and let me know. Im hoping that will fix it
