Default Leveling Kit + Longer Shocks?

I have had the Ready Lift 2.5" leveling kit on my truck for awhile now and every time I hit the smallest of bumps in the road my front end sounds like it is going to fall out.

My opinion is the shock is now bottomin' out causes the noise and taking what ever smooth ride you can get from a straight axle suspention COMPLETLY OUT.

So can I take a shock that has 3" more travel and install it on my truck with out any head aches?

This is a problem that lots of people run into. I have a 2wd and put on a 2" longer shock and I still get a loud bang from the front. I don't know, but you will definately need longer shocks.

You had no problems right?
What brand did you end up with? I was thinking Rancho.

Yeah, he had problems. Lots of guys with '06 and over spacers seem to have a big problem with this.

no answer on the poon club thing. I think the same way you do so I think they should post some pics of their latest "club member".

The poon club is exactly where your mind is. Our appreciation of the female body.

And you need the new shocks. You can get the shocks for a 2500 and they should fit just about right. There is a big difference in your truck and clouds/mine spacer wise

And yes cloud, i understand your frustration. i was on here commenting on EVERY level/lift thread trying to fix mine. Im kinda sick of it and am thinking of throwing the 1.5 in, we will see

As a temp fix you can go to Autozone and get 2" shock extenders for $5.
