Default Early and Late 3rd Gen Interior Compatability.

Hi guys this may seem like an odd question but I have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 quad cab with a sexy black interior (Leather seats, carpet, door panels, dash, etc.) I love the interior in this truck... Thing is, it doesn't have the drivetrain I want. So needless to say I've been looking at the 2006 and 2007 2500 cummins trucks but none of them seem to have black interiors or black leather interiors. So I was wondering if the interior panels, dash, seats (power and heat), carpet, dial type 4x4 selector, etc.. would be a straight swap to say an 06 or 07 truck... I know in 06 and 07 it got new headlights but maybe some other stuff got changed? Thanks in advance for any help you have to offer.

02-08 are direct replacement interior. the only difference is a few visual differences on the dash (radio specifically) and different color options.

You sure about that? The 06-08 dash outside of the overhead console, seats and gauge pod look totally different.

It would require the entire dash, but the entire dash unit out of the 03-05 would bolt right up. you could swap portions of it though.

Just like the front end you cant just do the headlights, you have to do the grille, bumper and fenders too

a.c vents are different, odometer is on the speedo not the tach on newer trucks. door panels are different.
