Default Want to install Bluetooth Mirror

I want to put a Bluetooth mirror in my truck and seen some used Jeep ones on Ebay with it built in them, but I dont know the first thing on what or how to install it. I see there are two plugs coming off the back of these mirrors but don't know where they need to be run and where to hook them up? If anyone knows anything on this please let me know.

Thanks

You have to have the U-connect setup (module, etc), it isn't built completely into the mirror.

it should just clip right in to the stock location. your factory mirror has wires for the reading lights, so the harness probably clips into the new mirror. post a link, so we can see which ones you're talking about

What does the bluetooth do? I have the auto adjusting (which doesnt do anything once you tint your back window) but I couldnt see what wireless would help. Calls or something?

Yeah it is for hands free calling on your cell phone as long as you have a cell phone with it.

The mirror was taken from a vehicle that had U-connect (bluetooth hands free through the stereo, which from what I've seen is only on CAN-bus vehicles) factory installed. This is what you need to make it actually work. If it is factory accessory (not installed or built with) I don't know if you can tie the mirror into (I'm sure someone has or can figure it out).

So your saying it's not just a simple plug and play, you have to have that kit to make it work. I got the RB1 radio and was thinking it would hook-up with it. OH well... Thanks!

It is and it isn't. Check out what I stumbled on, this will work on any Ram 02-05. Who da man (J/K)?
