Im not sure with the 2.5" kits either, but if ya got the extra coin to do it, I'd say go for it, while you''ve got everything apart. I feel that I need some longer ones with my 2in kit. Hopefully someone will chime in on the necessity (sp) of the longer struts/2.5in kit....

Good luck with the install buddy....

yes you will need longer struts / shocks . you will notic when going over a bump the shock will over extend .

Definitely longer for sure. Like RH said going over the bump you may not notice it, but when the tires go over the hump on the way down you will most definitely feel it. The truck will just drop like a rock. You may even find parts of your struts when they break from being topped out in your coils. Just my opinion.

lol nope just the shock . you can get a set of 4 for 150 from TGC . or go to shock warehouse and replace the fronts . but why not do all 4?

just get ones that are for the amount of lift . if you did a 2.5 lift get a 3" lift shock you will be fine . since shocks dont come in half sizes 2.5 isint a option . get 3" longer lift shock you will be fine
