Default 3" body lift

I got my truck all leveled out. Just put new rancho 5000s in the front and bilstein 5100s in the back. I just want my truck to be bigger. I am looking into getting a 3" body lift for it. The only things that I am unsure about are the front and rear bumper brackets or whatever, the brake lines, and the steering extension. Do the brake lines need to be extended? Can someone please explain the front and rear bumper bracket thing? Is the steering extension hard to put on how do you do it? Will I need new front struts and new rear shocks that are longer if I get the 3" body lift?

i got my 5100s from shockwarehouse and i have rancho up front because they dont make 5100 struts that arent adjustable. i dont like the adjustable shock thing or quicklift. i had rancho quicklift and it didnt level my truck so i went with the 2.5" spacers

From what I have seen, the front factory bumper mounts have to be cut off. There is a new bracket you attach with bolts (or you can weld) that raises the bumper up 3". The steering extension seems to be easy enough, from what everyone has said. Not sure about the brake lines, but I think there is enough slack there.

Shock dont have to be replaced and the brake lines do NOT have to be extented. all you do is put in a bracket that relocates the brake like diverter 3" higher so the lines dont stretch.

do you plan on getting the PA or the Zone lift??

with the zone lift you cut part of the frame off and put on better brackets.

the PA kit you hack up the fonrt bumper support.

search for my thread titled Zone body lift. i had a ton of pics in there for you to look at.

is there a downside to having 5100's on the front?

I can tell you I didnt have to extend my brake lines, fuel filler hose or put on the e-brake bracket. The steering extension was not hard either. ive got pics of mine in my sig link if you are interested.
