Clunking sound going over bumps!
sorry for the late reply. So I went and took it to a shop and they told me that both sway bar links and tie rods are busted. The sway bars need replacing and the tie-rods are on the way down. They're total estimate = $950. I looked up the price of parts at our local parts dealer and he said brand new and top of the line = ~$300.
Now If I can save $650 and not give it to these guys, i'm going to do it.
My final question is... Is it do-able to replace both tie rods and sway bar links at home?

thanks for the help. We are going to attempt at doing this ourselves. If you guys have any pointers at tackling this, let me know. We'll be using the Chilton manual with Alldata online to guide us but I would love some advice!
SAFETY NOTE: When replacing stabilizer bar bushings, be sure that both front wheels are either on the ground or in the air. Otherwise, the sway bar will be spring loaded. With only one wheel jacked up. Removal of the either nut on the top of the stabilizer link could result in a serious injury.
