I have a dirtydog box that I run 10" Infinity Perfects out of. I chose the Infinity's for their clarity and control and have them tuned accordingly.Their range is unbeatable. I hooked up my buddies w3's and they didn't hold a candle to my Infinity's as far as range goes. They didn't hit the lows near as much and were more hollow sounding. i think a proper box plays a huge rols in their sound where as Infinity's are very generous on box sizes.
RE subs are nice, but I heard the newer stuff isn't as good??? Dunno why u think they will break the wallet?? LOOK
i wouldn't consider spending less than $100 on any sub unless they were used. Only can go so low before you definately get what you pay for.

I agree. My tonneau cover is made from abs plastic and it looks exactly the same as the fox box. If it were fiberglass Fox would've have smoothed it out probably or you would see the fiberglass "strainds"

well i built my own box and put two 10" alpine type R's. not the best subs but they are the biggest sub i can fit. Type X magnets are huge. Im thinking of building another custom enclosure that goes on top of the rear seat down the middle and to the floor and install just one alpine type X 12" with 1000rms to one sub in a ported box.

And guys I have bought a fox box I'm not looking to build I just wanted to know what you were running in them so it gives me a idea for what fits thanks anyway though the majority around here only likes jl or alpine for the most part and thanks dirty even tho they were tens that's a better price than what I saw for re subs....

I like my p3, it is loud enough for sure, with real good clarity, and its only a single sub, so I imagine two would be quite impressive!

I'd stay away from cadence. Their high end stuff is comparable to everyone elses middle of the road.
My next sub will be an ID. HERE They are no doubt one of the better subs for the money. While not mind blowing, they are a phenominal all around performer and will go good paired up with a foxbox due to their small box needs
