I checked other places and the are pretty much the same price, Moe's had the Trans pan for $300 and the Diff cover for $250, but Moe's didn't say if the trans pan came with the pick up filter ($35 at auto parts store) and they didn't return my call so I just ordered from Mag-Hytec direct, because they said that the filter was included, and that all 3rd party dealers it was up to their discretion if they included it or not.

They are pretty spendy though. $260 for the Diff cover and $300 for the trans. I figured this would save time the next go around, and provide a little extra protection for the diff and trans too. Hell even with those and all the fluids and plugs for my 30K check up I will be well below the Stealerships price of $1k to do the work.

See now that's a great attitude right there, about saving money if the dealer had done it and getting mods with the difference in costs.
I have that attitude as well.
It's especially useful, when I tell the wife what a good boy I am and how much money I've saved by doing the jobs myself. Even including buying some mods with the difference

Nate did you get your covers yet? Ive been looking at the mag hytec stuff but kind of want to wait for the tranny pan til I do something else with the exhaust so I can get the full pan size pan instead and It doesnt say anything on the site about the diff cover in regard to a hole for a temp sensor..

I haven't received the covers yet, they supposedly shipped out on Friday, but I have no tracking #'s to confirm. As far as the temp sensor hole for the diff, it is the plug right under "Mag-Hytec" in the name plate (if you want to call it that)

the install instructions above reference the temp sensor plug, it says it contains an "1/8 inch pipe plug (optional temperature sender not included)"

this would work with the auto-meter (and probably others, just found the auto meter gauge first)
