need reverse sensor wire location. URGENT

Default need reverse sensor wire location. URGENT

hey guys, im getting ready to install backup camera but my hu needs to hook into reverse sensor wire. Does any1 of you know the location of it by the dash??? i really dont want to run it to the taillights.

On my 2008, i tapped into the reverse wire under the hood. it was a white/lt green stripe in the cluster of wires between the battery and the firewall.
You can prob take the lower half of the colum molding off and see if there is that wire and probe before splicing into it.

Not sure how much the '06 will differentiate, looked in my Haynes for 02-05, it shows a BRN/GRN from the back-up lamp switch to the 15A # 38 Fuse. You may be able to trace from the switch to under the dash...which prolly be a real PITA. Good luck

thanks guys, i just found wiring diagram for 06 and it also mentions white/lt green so it looks like 06+ are different.

I also tapped mine at the PCM wiring under the hood on the pass side firewall

everytime i do one i grab it from the reverse light. kuz i am already running wires back there.

i tried different spots like u guys have but i think this works the best here, perfect for parallel parking specially for getting into tight spots here in nj
