Default I need some help finding a part # (and maybe a favor too)

ok guys. ive been looking for the last hour strait, with no luck. i need to find the part # and/or someone that sells a transmission mount for a 2wd. also, for those of you with 2wds. if you could do me a HUGE favor. crawl under your truck. grab the tail housing of your tranny, and try to move it around. and let me know how much it moves around, and how soft that tranny mount seems to be.

after quite a bit of discussions today with denny. we are both pretty sure my transmission mount is bad. (its the one that holds the rear of the tranny to the crossmember). when i crawled under the truck today to check mine out, it looked ok visually, but when i grabbed my tail housing with my left hand, and moved it around, i could easily move it quite a bit. the bushing in the mount was pretty damn soft. im really hoping this is what is causing my "shuddering" denny and i both think now, that the 2nd gear shift is so hard, its rattling the tranny in a bad mount which is what im feeling. thanks guys.

9th post down on here gives a little info, might need to call the dealer and see what they can do for you.

Other than dealer references and older model transmission mounts, not much info out there.

Then theres always 52021130aa lol

hemilonestar, your pm was a life saver. FOUND THE PART #. now i just gotta find out how much it costs, and how long its gonna take to get it. thanks guys.

but if someone could still wiggle their tranny around a bit and get back to me, that would be great.
