Default used dual exhaust magnaflow 50$

my buddies dad owns a transmission shop. some old dude with the exact same truck as me but silver came in he had just bought it. the truck had a dual magnaflow on er and he didnt want it so they cut it off and stuck on something quieter.
hes bringing it by today after work wants 50$ for it.. any thing i should look at make sure i can put it on my truck?
im not sure where they cut the pipe but i figure 50$ may as well:?

yes thats a good deal , make sure its stainless and is the correct size 3" i think it is .

Okay so i just got it. They cut it right before the muffler. He said it had a really big leak so pretty much what i got is the 2 exhaust pipes i guess their called

Will this connect to my stock muffler with a Y pipe?

I hope your talking about the mufflers, otherwise you payed for just exhaust pipe.

If it is the same diameter as your stock pipes your good to go, or if its bigger than your stock pipes then youll probably have to get and adapter to step yours up to fit the new pipe.

well why use the pipes if your nit gonna get any gain out of it? buy a magna flow muffler and that will make your truck louder... you can even use the 50 dollar pipe you just bought
