Because copper core is what is recommended for the hottest spark. Next time use NGK V-power copper plugs. I gave $45 for all 16 shipped to my door from Moe's. That's $2.87 a plug I think. Hemi's run best on copper core plugs. I just put mine in last Sat. Took about 2.5 hours because my back is trashed.

all the canadian tire in calgary and in airdrie had were autolight, which by the sounds of EVERYONE i talk to they are no good. Could not find a champion plug without a 1 week min back order. That was too late for me, cause im going on holidays , and it was not running top notch

They are working well, my mileage increased now to what i was doing when i first got it.

I like them anyways, also because i recieved them half price!

I'll do one up if there isn't within the next week or so while I'm doing my spring/pushrod swap. Ahh man, you live where I grew up (Scottsdale and Fountain Hills) was just out there in July and went down the Salt.

Don't know why. Autolite Double Platinum is what I've always used in the Hemi, just put in new and have great throttle response 16mpg city/20mpg hwy. Only $2 and some change at Advance Auto. I've got some old ones with a ton of miles and they all still looked good.
