comming up on a oil change , i run all mobil 1 oil and filters but wondering about the k&n oil filter anyone have any input???

 

yep, I've got it on my truck right now. Just changed it last week. I run either mobil 1 filters or K&N ones. Depends on which one is cheaper when I go in to buy it. Gotta love having the nut on the bottom. I also have only ever ran mobil 1 oil also.

supposed to make getting it off easier.

My preference in order is Wix (NAPA Gold), Purolator Pure 1, Mobil 1, K&N...

 

no i hear ya hammer im a mobil 1 guy but didnt know anything about the k&n thats all

 

I have used them a few times. The nut on the bottom really does help when changing the oil. I am kinda switching between the Royal Purple, K&N, and Wix filters.

A guy told me that the RP was one of the better, then the K&N, and then the Wix. Napa golds are good supposedly

Thats what I thought, but a guy on DT that bought the comparison said they have completely different stats
