Hey, I'm thinking about Putting a Cherrybomb Glasspack on my 08' ram 5.7 quad cab. Thinking about keeping the res. and chopping the stocky muffler. so my question is, what length of pipes to i need to take up left over room for the glasspack? thanks.

 

a simple tape measure will do while your doing it yes?

haha yes a tape measure would be awesome if i was near the truck .. I am away for a bit and wanted to pick up the gear before i got back so i could just get to it. but if no one knows or remembers from doing it them selves. I guess I'm going to have to wait.

 

Cherry bomb glass pack is 30" I think and the stock muffler Is I think 36" or something like that

 

Alright thanks. i should rig something up from that .. so 30" plus 2 size expanders to bring it up to 3 inch inlet and outlet .. it might add up to 36. perfect. thanks man

 

glasspacks come in different sizes. ussually the shorter the louder

 

this is true, mine is a 22 incher and i can't imagine going any shorter, i'd get annoyed.

 

sounds about right, the piece of extra pipe i put in there with the CB probably was right around 4-6". wet out right now or i'd get under and measure for you.

LX, don't hate. This glasspack actually has less drone than my magnaflow did, though I put the resonator back on when I went to the CB (single pipe).
