There's gotta be a drain plug, laying under truck on crawler looking at rad, should be lower left corner.

 

Aftermarket with no drain plug, don't ask me why it doesn't have one. Wasn't there when I installed it in Florida when old one went. I didn't have a clamp to use so had to cut it.

 

If those are you power steering lines then there is no drain plug there.

 

Wats the asprin trick?

 

This trick was presented by another member about a month ago. If your thermostat doesn't have a bleed hole you can push it open and use a asprin to hold it open so when you first install the thermostat it will allow the air/water to flow and purge the system when the engine is first started..

 

It's also preventative maintenance on guarding your truck from it having a heart attack

 

Yep, that's one of my PS lines, of course the other is a hose draining coolant. Aftermarket...that explains it I guess. What a PITA that is for you. Well, at least ya got it installed ok.
