Default Rear diff. fluid change and pix!

first the pain in the ***!!456.jpg?t=1270661874
used wd40 on the bolts opened up the bowl and found a minimal amount of sludge an fine metal contaminates around the magnet plate. my first instinct was oh f54k but this is the first time it breathed air since the factory. with the little amount I saw I'd say I caught it just in time.
mail124.jpg?t=1270662126I cleaned everything with brake cleaner and dried and cleaned both surfaces for reassembly.
now the easy part wait for the blue rvt to dry...
Oh it's mounted on the housing btw.lol
mail23.jpg?t=1270672694and finally all done with no leaks! yes I like summit racing products so what lol !!!

No thank the christ, I had a minute amount of sludge at the bottom and a very small ,almost a residue of metal flake attached too the magnet. I knew the previous owner. He went over a year without any oil changes in 08. The same time he went too bke week in myrtle beach. he towed two bikes with this truck. That could of done what I saw in the housing.
