After about 4-5 door dings on my old caddy I just started parking way the hell away from everybody. When I go to wal-mart or somewhere like that I always park in the back, not real far back, just a couple spaces away from the last car. I figure people are retards and I dont trust em to park next to my huge vehicle. Sucks about your paint job man, I hope her insurance pays for it and her rates get jacked up.

That's why my truck stays parked when I go to school. I bought an Explorer just for that sorta thing. Most people don't look at a vehicle like any of the members on here do.
One thing I do hate....people associate sports cars with nice paint jobs and tend to be careful around them for the MOST PART. When it comes to trucks, people think they have the rights to lay all over the paint, jump the sides, lean over the bed side and think it's perfectly alright just because it's a truck...wtf? Where do their heads come into play?
It's like you have to tell people your super **** before they even give a crap, and they only give a crap at that point because they don't wanna be held liable.

I don't take my truck to the mall, Walmart, grocery store...etc Basically no place where there are lots of carts and people. If I do stop by, I'll park on an incline, downwind and way away...lol it's a chore and a science to park my truck...lol I got that way from treating my mustang with the utmost respect.

At least it will go to a good cause. Smaller creases can be pulled out for the most part using a paintless dent removal guy or like you said, your body shop guy can do it.

Sorry to hear about the Damage Man and lack of respect on that Broads Part, but glad to hear it will be better in the end, and for sure her insurance rates will rise after they pay your bill so she will pay more in the end. My truck is scratched all around and I plan to paint it again only after all my other planned mods are done (maybe another 5 years but hey) and I am sure it won't be cheap to do a nice spray.

Gotta say you probably have the Nicest 3rd Gen paint Job West of Kenora! and if I ever have to park beside you it would be 2 stalls over just incase.

Hell just today I go to my cousin's house. My cousin's husband's parents show up in a pos LTD and she hits my truck with her door. No dent but a white paint mark. I was able to wax it out, but Jeez! Pissed me off......

the amount of damage someone does to my truck is exactly the amount of damage i'd do to their face. in this case, i'd have creased her face
