Yep, it is an art. I always go for the empty high ground to make my stand. That way the windage doesn't effect the overall equation as much. And always take up two spaces even if the closest car is eleven spaces away. I'm thinking of setting up safety cones. Hell it's a truck, After all I should carry something back there. On a very serious note, two young college boys driving daddys bimmer flew through a red and damn near put a whole lot more than a scatch on my ride today. Totally took me by surprise. Would have taken several rollback to pick that mess up. Caught up with them and got one of those WTF looks. After explaining their error to them I actually got an apology, which also surprised me.

Why is it that when you've taken the time to search out a parking spot where nobody is nearby, then when you return......there's a POS, parked a cigarette paper width away from your door????
WTF!!!!
Happens as well over here in the UK guys.
To the OP.....good job you were there to see this and then give her s**t about it. She would have just driven away, had you not been. That's the kind of person she obviously was.

i try to park away from people just for that reason. my girl complains and says its just a truck ... but she doesn't understand.
when i first got the truck i had all the dents / dings removed and the very next day someone opened their door and hit my passenger side door.
was quite upset considering they didn't even leave a note

In my case it was my mother-in-law and she was in our Yukon w/ my wife. She F***** up both of our vehicles in one fell swoop. I'm sure she'll be on my sh** list for quite some time over that little brain fart. I think about it every time I see that crease.

^^ that sticker is funny, but nothing I'd put on my vehicle. Then your just asking for people to F with your ride and show you they can get awaywith it.

There is absolutely no scam going on in this case and I reccomend you not try it either or the insurance company may make an example out of you if they find out!
