Default Removed rear bumper getting ready to install roll pan!

just removed the stock bumper (the easy part haha) then lifted bed to remove that pita tow hitch heres a pic or it off just waiting for the roll pan to come in then gonna paint it!

roll pans are nice in a non rear accident kind of way. You have just been warned. Good luck with the mod. You are a braver man than me.

It's going to look great on your truck. It will really clean up the way the back of the truck looks.

True, they SUCK in a rear-end collision, but then again whoever the idiot that rear-ended him will be paying for all the damage anyway (just more $$ for them!)

haha thanks for the input all just curious for anyone who has one i know we have 2 lights back there just curious as when how you ran your new license plate light and did you get lamp out light

I agree its gonna look good. But one thing i suggest is lowering the rear to level or lower.. I just got a roll pan but haven't put it on just yet. The license plate lights on my roll pan are right above the license plate and mine is an 06 and i havent had working tag light for a week and i do not get a light out code, i think they are just tapped into the park lights. But The only reason i haven't put it on yet is because of time and the hitch. The hitch it has some weird looking rolling bar thing that i haven't been able to figure out yet. i believe its some kind of weight distributor??? No other Ram i've looked at has this.

wierd ya i agree i need to lower it im gonna do the same kit you have aswell Mcgaughy's 2/4.5 drop did you weld the leaf brackets to the axle? im gonna put it on in my driveway but dont have access to a welder at the moment not sure if it is needed?

i have a roll pan and i took one of the rear license plate lights and spliced it to the new wires for the new light, then i just taped the old one up and zip tied it to the frame. i didnt get any lamp out lights and everything is working great. i youtubed the whole install-here it is if u wanna c what i did.

ha man that sucks u couldn't get those bed bolts off i know they were a pita for me but got them off but nice video tho and thanks for the help!
