i didnt sand the handles much... it was way too much work and you cant see any blemishes in the paint when theyre rough..
i know i need tow mirrors but havent found the right price yet... got quoted 325 from a buddy at the dealer... thats cost plus 10%
jay- I would like those pics! some day we are going to redo the whole thing and would like some ideas... problem is, we get ice here... when it goes out it pulls everything, and the ground pushes on it too... something you probably dont have to deal with in FL... cheapbeater55@yahoo.com thanks bud!

I LOOOOVE the handles and painted trim. That is the NEXT mod on my list. It seems all my plastic pieces are fading super fast and there are some of them that have wax all dried up on them. Mainly the wiper cowl. I knew I shouldn't have let my cousin wax my ride. i guess you get what you pay for. I gave him $10 to do the whole truck...lol I had to school him before I let him do anything...haha
I was thinking of using bumper trim paint. it leaves a soft matte black(satin) look to it. Taping off seems like a PIA and I think I may actually pop the door panels off and take them off because I want to install JimmyJammers at the same time.
Hood looks sweet BTW.
