Did you remove the Rear bumper step plate? If so how did you get it off? Truck looks good man!

Yeah I have been really really debating doing the Eyelids. I have aftermarket housings so I think it would look even cooler. I don't have the gay bubble thing over the bulbs. Question for you though, Did you sand the headlight or just use the adhesion Promoter and paint a couple layers then clear? Basically what were your steps on the headlights?

When I did my eyelids, I wetsanded the area I wanted to paint and applied one layer of adhesion promoter. Then 3 light coats of paint followed by 2 coats of clear. Some people also paint the inside of the housing lens but I can tell you that I had no light bleed with painting just the outside.

yeah, i basically did what joe said...

as for the bumper steps, they can be a bich to get off... they have little plastic things you have to squeeze together and push up with a needle nose plyers. the back wasnt too bad but the front was a pain because of my tow bar...

did you clear all the partS? how much did you sand them too? any primer or adhesion promoter?

supposedly adhesion promoter takes the place of primer...and yes you want to clear anything you do on the outside of the vehicle UNLESS its a single stage quality paint
