Default What $40 in spray paint and a day gets you...

Well I finally painted most of my plastics on my truck... I painted the door and tailgate handles, bumper steps, front valence insert, and I made some eyelids!! I still have to paint the lower valence, antenna base, and hood sill plate thing...
I put a couple layers of adhesion promoter on everything, then 4 or 5 layers of color match black, then 4 or 5 coats of clear
I also added a few more layers of VHT to the tails, and cleared and buffed them... they look much better than before.

I also have some 5.7 HEMI stickers on the way for the sides of the hood (on the silver), and I took off the factory mudflaps and fixed the HUGE gouges they made in the paint.. to the metal!! I got some bigger flaps that wont rub the paint again. Havent had time to put those on yet...

I hope AF approves of the eyelids

looks like you need a new wood retention wall on the waterfront property....nice job btw and i found out that krylon fusion matches our black paint code real well...maybe i should buy some clear and clear my stuff i painted....gotta love that all black look....fresh and clean....

jay- you inspired me to do mine and it was soooo worth it. and you're right, our shoreline is going to chit... needs to be restacked this year.

and the neighbor's yard is fine, just one little spot of dirt... he didnt even notice

holllllyyyyyyyyyyy shneickys batman! that looks SWEET! yes, i DEF approve of the eyelids. you did a great job on everything. lovin that silver srt stripe too... it helps make the hood pop so much more now than it did before you did the black trim work

i got mad pics if you wanna see how we do it down here its real easy and lasts along time just let me know and ill email you some all you need is alot of lumber and a water pump with a hose and pipe on the end and you set the boards in the sand vertically 5' deep....last forever.....
