Napa is batting .500 right now advanced is ok for now, and forgwet pep boys or autozone (morons) and overpriced !! no thanks. Wanna see some picks sweetheart!! w/the logo it will look sweet I'm sure.

they dont have advance auto out here. Only Napa, Schucks/O'Reillys and a couple auto zones here and there. The best place I've found are the little napa private stores that have the "good ol boys" working behind the counter.

Anyone heard of RockAuto?

I ordered some caliper pins and boots, plus anti rattle clips for the front and rear calipers on my brakes over here in Egland.
I did that the afternoon of April 13th.
Guess what, they are now in the UK awaiting delivery today before 6pm local time.
I can't get stuff that fast from most main dealers for English products.
Awesome service.
Al.

Unlike here on DF, where 90% of these yo-yo's let their testosterone go to their heads whenever anybody with ***** posts, unfortunately I've found that 99.9786% of all auto parts store employees don't have a brain to shut off.

15 years or so ago, I used to see a major difference when I'd come to Florida to visit my parents at which time I'd always maintain their vehicles. At that time, the avg. parts store employee in south Georgia was usually a male, in his 30s to 40s and had experience working on vehicles while the ones in Florida seemed to be either male or female, in their late teens to mid 20's and basically were employed there because it was a "job".

Now I find that's the case ALL OVER. The auto parts stores pay barely over minimum wage and I'd imagine that probably only the store mgr. would even get any sort of benefits.

There is one guy at the local NAPA who is pretty good, but I've yet to find anyone at Advance or Autozone here in Florida who knows a brake pad from a spark plug. When I'm up at the farm it's basically the same thing. There is one girl, in her mid 20's who is an asst. mgr. at O'Reillys who knows her sh*t pretty well, but everyone at NAPA, Advance and Autozone are inept as hell...

My next door in front neighbor owns all the NAPAs in NW louisiana. That dude knows his stuff, but unfortunately most of the people he employs dont. If you go to one of them and the person doesnt know, they call him lol.

And Hammer, Im sure your right. You cant get someone interested in a job when they are in and out in 6 months, no benefits and $8 an hour

Wow dodge girl, Every time i go the autozone or advance auto parts there always know what there talking about, well at least when im talking to them lol. No problems here but I have better luck going to auto store and looking for a part then asking the dealer. There clueless. I have yet to find a good dodge dealership in mass that knows what there talking about and has common sense. I can tell you that the big dodge dealer in dedham on r1 is real bad lol. Dont go there lol.
