the NAPA by me has always been pretty good, back when i was restoring my ford, after two weeks of buying parts on a daily basis, i asked jokingly if they'd give me the employee price, and they did it! for the next 4 months i got all my parts at the employee price, figure i saved well over a grand.

I live relatively out in the boonies. So none of the auto parts stores are really near me. Napa seems to have what I want most of the time where Advance Auto sometimes doesn't. But if I can get it from Advance, it is almost always cheaper.
Big things I buy online of course. And who needs knowledgeable sales people when you have DF?
Fortunately I have a VERY knowledgeable and cheap mechanic not far down the road. He is awesome. Of course that's only if I can't do it myself.

I have another one to add that just came back to me!
We pulled my buddies motor on the weekend and rented a lift from the local napa.
Go pick it up and have to load it myself, get it to the house and there's a broken wheel. We can still work with that lol.
Anyways we get the motor out of the car wheel it to the side a bit and the goddamn bolt for the leg is missing and the whole thing topples over dumping my buddies motor on the ground!
We call the store and what does the ****ing idiot manager (23 tops) say?? "well sir those things happeen".
