Default Where should i mount my air compressor

So i got my air compressor for my airbags but i dont know where i should mount it.

It says in dry clean and not hot area. i was thinking under the driver seat but figured it would get annoying. So thought in the center console the very bottom, but id have to leave the plastic piece out. So i thought maybe in the back seat storage, but i dont ant to rip up the carpet and have airlines running under it.

So what are your thoughts?

IMO, i would not want to hear the compressor kick on inside the cab. i would fab up a small vented box and mount it to the frame rail under the cab.

I wouldn't put it in the cab, my buddy has a compressor under the back seat of his Chevy and its rather annoying. I put mine up front like Weedahoe's, gonna put some pictures up in a minute.

thats an idea. I already thought about under the cab but all places i could do it get rather dirty from time to time.

But i could weld up a heat shield type box that would deflect dirt. just like 2 sides one so i can bolt to the frame and one to block.

I decided to take a piece of steel and bolt it to the body about 2 feet in front of the gas tank. then the compressor will mount to that.

Ill make a cover for it in a little bit im currently waiting for paint to dry so i can get it on and run my hoses and wires so i can see what kind of room i have

most popular place I've seen them is the space behind the front bumper, you got two side rails of frame and frame in the front to mount to. It's actually a large enough area for a compressor and a small tank...
