Default dammit ,,,you guys and your train horns

sombitches ...now im thinking of doing this but i want a trucker big rig horn not a train , so question.... i have a 110v 15 amp baby compressior with a 4 gal tank i can mount . how can i convert that over to 12 v and what will i need to do this ?? 4 pole relay , some line, and horns with built in solinoid right ??
help a brother out .

i am thinking if i wire in a power converter to a switch i could make it happen .

Honestly man, get you a 12v compressor. They are that much on ebay for a good one and sometimes they are on CL.


But thats the direction I would go

i dont know about that you deffinatly need a power inverter of some sort but it could be tricky wiring something in instead of a cigarette lighter. all i know is you would want to get an inline fuse for something like that and probably use a circuit breaker. just hope your compressor doesn't need a ton of juice to run it.

Train horns are DEF on my sometime-down-the-road-modlist. As immature as it is, it would be fun as hell to scare a few folks. I wouldn't be a complete ***, but a few laughs would be had every now n then
