What does the factory call for. My guess is a basic copper plug and because these are not performance motors they do not need to be overly fancy. IMO just rock a NGK or Champion copper plug gapped to factory specs.

Use Champion copper plugs or NGK V-Powers plugs for the best results.
Don't forget to use a gap wire or feeler gauge to set your gap. Gap information
usually in the engine compartment on a tag.
Don't use a pocket feeler gauge either!!

This quote came somewhere. I've done research on my truck since day one, so I got quick lookup. Just giving back.

I went with the autolite 3923s when I changed mine. Some say they add a few hps just by them selves but I did not notice that much of a difference. Look in the 2nd gen section because they have more experience with the 5.9s.

Had a Bosch Platinum come apart in my dad's F150 and ruin a good 5.0 because the platinum tip wedged between the piston and cylinder wall and cut a nasty groove in the cylinder wall which caused some nasty blow-by. I will never run that crap again!!
Use copper champions or NGK V-powers (Copper) for best results.

Champions are best for chrysler engines, period.
Where as NGK or Denso's work wicked with japanese engines.

That being said, go with the factory recommended plug and dont look back.
