I figured big ol knobby mud terrrains and all that they would break loose fairly easily on pavement, guess not lol. I knew my lsd would make it harder, but I didnt expect it to make it that much harder.

One of my buddie's, his dad has a 2nd gen 2500 with like a 3-4inch lift. He has the 5.9 gasser and BFG A/T's, he's tried but no matter how hard he tries it won't spin those big bastards.

Thats the price we pay to play. Everything we do is in some way wearing something down. I take my truck to the dunes frequently, I know Im prematurely wearing a lot of things down, I have money set aside for if I do break something, I can fix it. I enjoy what I do, and I think its worth it.

Well I don't do it all the time but was just wondering if it was caused by the limited slip since my friends is same truck but w/o posi and his redlined.

the lsd would probably the culprit in this case. the added traction from the extra tire is putting that much more strain on the engine than the peg leg.

Def the lsd I went from open to a lsd on my 05 hemi and noticed the same thing...once its spinning let off the brake slowly u should get to 4500rpm before the fronts start to roll

once i got this truck i tried the same thing the lsp is nice but i wish once it was all oldschool not as much electronics i got a set of old 20's id love to roast
