Default Why should I buy a Ram 1500 over a F-150?

Not only am I trying to find out what other people are paying for leases, but I'm also looking at two truck. Why should I buy a Ram 1500 RC, over a F-150 Extended Cab? FYI-- I won't buy a quad cab ram or f-150 becuase I don't need the room.

I figure you guys are the experts...so let me have it! What are some advantages and disadvantages besides HP.

I switched from Ford to Dodge due to quality issues. The last Ford I owned seemed to break continuously just after the warranty ran out, and judging by the experiences of other friends and family members who also owned fords, this the becoming the standard for them.

So far, I've had good luck with my last 2 Dodge trucks.

Yeah I currently own a Ranger, and I hate the dame thing. I mean not that it's such a bad truck...but it's just cheap. Basically it does not break down, but everything rattles, shakes, sqeeks, and rolls. I want a solid truck with a solid feel. I've have driven the f-150 and belive me it's solid, but have not driven the ram yet.

I would get the ram simply because of quality. My buddies F-150 rattles like crazy, and just does not seem to have the integrity of the Rams. Not to mention how the Ram will out perform the F-150 in every catagory. Get the Ram

I traded my 03 Ranger, it was a LOADED Ranger, could not get anythinig else on it. But still... The base components were the same, many rattles developed! Not to mention the number of TSB's that existed in the truck, and the scary part, they have existed for years and Ford never did anything to correct the issues on newer models. I know, it is a Ranger not a F-150, but that tells me a little bit about the company.

Looks comes to mind, but that will vary person to person.

Dodge was, ended early this month, offering very good incentives. By the time it was all said and done I bought my truck for $8500 under sticker, well plus taxes.

I drive fords everyday for company vehicles, both f-150 and f-250. The 5.4L is a POS. No power what so ever. When you step on the gas you gets lots of rpm's but no go. The 6.8L V10 is the best gasser ford currently offers in pickups, but at 10 mpg hardly worth owning unless its strictly used for work.

before I bought my Hemi, I drove a number of ferds, and chebbies, all used as to see what they were like with some miles, from 15K to 32K, and I found the dodge was the best, hands down for ride, quality, and just plain power.... and I could have had anything I wanted....just chose the toy I have, and aint lookin back..........love my truck.......GUIDO
