I dunno if the auto parts stores carry them as I've always used RTV. But I noticed when I was looking at chrome diff covers, they ALL seem to come with a gasket.
I ended up just painting mine red, at least for now, as I'm only about 4k into my diff fluid and wasn't gonna pull the cover till fluid change time.
