Default How would i make a functional hood scoop

say i wanted to just make a venom hood.. since they are not in business..
could i just pretty much sand down my whole hood. bondi on a random hood scoop and pretty much drill a hole?
or what would i have to do

would it just be cheaper to find an srt 10 hood?

venom is in business and on backorder I believe.

If you wanna start drilling holes in a hood, I'd recommend buyin a used stock one off craigslist for $100 to practice on. The biggest functionality of the other hoods is their cowl induction which you arent going to have much luck in replicating on a stock hood.

I was actually thinking the same thing LMC truck has just ornamental stuff you just tack on the oem hood. looks ok I guess , But with the right body man It isw very much possible. Trouble is the weather. water will deffently get in there. and then you will have problems, Less you go for just the look. Others have, hell I have a chrome fuel cover that looks like the high speed fuel intake. you know its not btw

Good price for a hood when ya think about the other stuff that it has. kinda pricey but well worth the investment imo.
