Default HELP....Please, Turn Signal Chaos!!

First let me say hi, name is Rich, I go by Putt here on the net. I'm a proud owner of a new (to me) '04 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4.......

The truck is in excellent shape. I had to change the front brake's yesterday and fix a turn signal lamp that was out (yea right). the brakes went well, my problem started when i went to fix the signals.

When I hit the right turn signals, the flashers going a million times a second, lamp out indicator light on the dash is on, left signals work fine. I changed EVERY lamp on the truck, swapped the circuit boards in the back and still, no rear right turn signals. I went to my friendly local autozone to pick up a new flasher and they tell me rthere is no flasher for this truck............

Help guys..... What else should I be looking at....It's driving me nutz....

Rich

Normally when the turn signal is blinking really quickly it meant that you have a brake light out, not a turn signal out. I just replaced my driverside brake light today, same isue with the turn signall flashing quicker than usual

Double Check to make sure your bulbs are the proper bulbs and double check to make sure the dual filament bulbs are in the right way.

Ok, so did you only swap the circuit boards from one side to the other? If that's the case, you just solved your own problem. In the first part you say the left signals work find and the right one doesn't work. Then in the last part of the paragraph after you swapped the boards all the sudden your left signals don't work. Sounds like you have a bad board and the problem followed it. That's if you didn't buy new boards but just moved them from left to right which is my assumption.

That was pretty observant. But my bad, typo....No matter which board is plugged into the right side, it doesn't work and vise versa, no matter which board is plugged into the left side, the left side works................
