Well, it seems that I kind of started this when I did my front bumper with it a few weeks ago. If that's the case, I apologize.

That being said, I have ZERO issues with it chipping or anything on the front bumper. Keep in mind that I live in the country and drive to Houston daily for work. I drive 96 miles round trip, 5 days a week. My bumper sees it's share of bugs, etc.

As I had posted in a previous post, I did my Westin steps in this stuff and they have yet to have any marks on them. I had those in the truck close to a year or so before removing them.

I always had the best results when sanding first, then primer, then the Plasti-Dip.
So far, so good.

Is the stuff UV resistant? Or will it fade and wear with age?

ill let you know how mine holds up after a year or so. haha, or maybe 08RamMan will have some input. hes had the stuff for a while

It wouldnt be a bad idea to spray it with a UV spray every time the truck is washed. Something similar to armorall or adams polish to keep it clean, protected, and new looking.
