replacing plugs on my Ram with a 4.7L
I feel silly even asking the question but is it difficult to replace the plug on a 4.7L Ram?
I always changed my own plugs on my older cars but the setup in the 4.7 sure seems different without conventional plug wires. I just about fell off my chair when the dealer quoted me $330 to replace eight spark plugs. What tool will I need to do it? On the old cars I just used a 3/8 socket set with a plug socket.
I am taking in to the dealer for other work and need to know if it's as easy as the old cars.
Thanks.

there are tons of threads on this that ive seen in the past, hit the search function. also, let me know how it goes if you end up doing it yourself, i have a 4.7 and would like to do the same thing if its not too bad
It's not a big deal, the harder one's are the one's closest to the firewall b/c they're tougher to get to. You just have to unplug and unbolt the coils, wiggle and pull them off the off, unscrew and remove the old plugs w/ your ratchet and plug socket, check the gap on the new one's then put some anti seize on them and tighten em down, and the rest is pretty much reverse of removal.
yeah def. a diy job especially for that price. i didnt even go to my shop to do them i changed them in my drive way. chambers is right tho them in rear are a pia.
