Unhappy Newbie please help

Just got a 2005 Ram 1500 and replaced rear sensor because abs/parking brake light was on, now it goes off when the vehicle is turned off then on and comes back on and stays on after with a code of erratic signal in rear abs sensor, which was the same code before the new sensor was put in. All connections are dry and debris free, PLEASE HELP! Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!!

Trace the wiring back some and look for any bad spots. Might get lucky, hard to say.

Thanks for the help guys, I traced the wiring and can't find a exposed wire/broken wire and also have reset the computer; I'm leaning towards a module, found one off an 04 w/only 44k on it for $50 shipped, I'll throw that in and hopefully all will be fixed One question though is there a connector/harness right under the driver's side door that is open to the elements? Looked like the wires are insulated but if there were a problem that is where I would see it as being.
