8" suspension lift
I was just looking around at suspension lifts and I stumbled across an 8" sus. lift for 03-07 2500/3500. Could this kit be installed on my 07 1500? I dont even know if I would go that big, but I am just curious. Heres the link. Oh and I thought with a suspension lift the rear end and everything was raised? If not how does that help for off-roading (just curious)?

So if I go suspension lift I should just get a 6" fabtech? I already have 2.5" coil spacers so how does that work with the suspension lift kit that comes with them? I guess all I would need is the 6" anyways. Would the $1700 fabtech kit come with everything I need including shocks and brake line extensions? Whats the deal with cutting the cross member? Thanks for the replies.

OP, to answer you question, the fabtech kits come with every thing you will need for the install. all companies send complete kits for install.
as for the 1500/2500 susp lifts. 1500's have IFS susp. the 2500/3500's have straight axles up front. so they dont have the same style.
BDS is one of the top of the line susp lift companies. I prefer them to almost any other comapny... except Zone. theyre sister companies and there kits are very similar but the Zone kit is only $1200 for a 4" or 6" kit.
all the lift kits that go 6" and have the diff drop put the CV's at the same angle. none are any differant when it comes to that. it all depends on how you truck looked stock as to what you think a stock CV angle is. no 2 trucks are the same. my CV's were almost flat when stock and now there at about a 25 degree angle with my leveling kit and ive seen some stock Rams with worse angles than mine are now.
If you just want the height of a 6" lift and you already have a 2.5" level. do yourself a favor and save your money and get a zone 3" body lift. it will give you 5.5" of lift and most 6" kits only really give you that much anyway.
