ok heres what u do and the right way...... as long as the scoop has a flat edge (lip) to it ur good. The right way to do it is to go to napa and buy some good panel bond. put the scoop on and trace it out. Grind the hood and the scoop where they will meet each other. You will want the 45 min setting panel bond because what you will do is when u have ground the hood and scoop where they meet with the most agressive stuff possible smeer the panel bond on both mateing surfaces. Once u have done that so that way its sealed from rust put a good beed of panel bond on the hood. Then drill and RIVET the scoop down every 4 inches or so and in the corners. Let it drie and then grind the rivet heads off if there in the way if not go ahead and lay down a coat of short stran fibre glass. Once thats dried sand it down and repeat. when its close then go to bondo when there very little body work needed
im in oshawa ont where u at?

probally an hour and a half away
so grinding down the good vs just sand blasting will allow it to stick better correct? how deep down would i grind the lips? i was just planning on bondo'ing out about 6 inches to blend it in for the whole 3 mm it will probally consume
