Default ABS and Brake Light On

I have a 03 Ram 1500 5.7L and the ABS and brake light stay on.There is an audible warning sound and speedometer work fine. The ABS kicks in sometimes while braking on a dry road. I have read previous threads about the diff Speed sensor, could this be the problem? Thanks...

Yep, I would start looking at that. Sometimes the connection also comes loose and you can also have moisture collect in there.

I am having a very similar problem, my ABS amber warning light is on. No audiable warning. My problem was caused by installing a DSP tune and doesn't clear. DSP is working on a fix for me. Yours sounds like a RWAL/VSS problem. I would check the connection for moisture/damage. Good luck...
