Default Speed limiter bypass "key trick"

I heard this from a guy who used to have an '04 hemi... you can bypass the speed limiter without using a tuner by turning and holding the key in the start position while driving. it has a block off so it wont turn the starter but it will cut the seat belt lock, speedo, blower motor, radio... and maybe some other stuff i cant remember... but it also cuts the speed limiter!
he said he had his truck up to 130 with no tuner by doing this...
obviously this is very dangerous because it cuts the power to the seatbelt lock but... has anyone ever heard of this??
anyone wanna try it?

It's also dangerous because you take a hand off the wheel to do it.

All safety considerations aside, I've tried it and it works - but I have no GPS to confirm speeds.

Not gonna lie these trucks really do not belong anywhere over 110 to 120 mph. Its just ****ing retarded IMO unless you are running capable tires and enough braking force to scrub the speed off of a 2 or 3 tone brick moving at triple digits.

i've hit 110 with a lot left... i dont have any desire to go any faster than that... but you never know, if the cops are chasing you and you need that little extra speed boost... just turn the key and away you go. lol

What a great idea!
Sounds like a good way to eliminate a few pesty gene pools that have otherwise avoided the natural selection process.
