I was talking to a parts guy the other day and I think he is full of sh*t. My truck has the true buckets in it, I would like to change it out to the flip up seat console (I have kids). The dealer told me that my front seats would have to be changed in order to change out the console. Does this make any sense? I would be willing to trade console if it is possible.

 

think you'll find the subframes for the seats are different, so you can't just fit the middle seat

 

Is the subframe the area under the console?

I used to have an 05 1500 quad cab with the 6 seats in it. At work I have an 07 3500 dodge (that has the 3 seats in the front) and when I compair it to my 08 mega I can't see anything different. My mega even has the holes for the middle seatbelt already in the seat frame.

 

I'll trade you my jump seat although its just a straight jump seat no flip up console.

 

I would like the complete flip up console and seat.

cloth but its the tan interior.
