iknow this is an old thread, but did you ever put new gears in?

if so how much did it affect your mpgs?

I know this is an older thread, but would the same hold true for a 4.7L on the gears. I have 3.55 and plan on staying with the stock 245/70/17s just because I like the way it rides and drives on them better than the 20s. I ocassionaly pull a 16ft enclosed trailer with a couple quads and camping gear.. mainly it is empty just running down the highway.. and I want it to stay in overdrive instead of shifting down on a slight grade..

yes gears would help alot
