Default Need truck painted?

I'm wanting my truck painted black, but I need to know cost first. I dont need showroom quality at all, just something to last 5 years or so. I've already got 150,000 miles on the truck, and figured I will always keep it as a work truck. I'm getting black so I can outfit it with ranchhand accessories.

Also, tell me about prices on suspension lifts. I'm wanting to add about 1-2" and level it, and thats it. Whats a good way to go that wont break the bank. Thanks guys.

well you can level the suspension for free by cranking up the torsion bars..

as far as paint goes, if you could always get the macco $300 special... unless its not black already, or you could spray it all yourself with bedliner, (something ive always wanted to do..)

No, it's Patriot Blue. And I'm not going the torsion bar route. I want it leveled out right.

To many variables to consider from location to franchise vs ma and pa shops vs the backyard cats on craigslist. Prob' best to google local paint shops in your area via zip code and then check out the reviews and move from there.
You prob not going to go the route i went as i went to a satin/matte look.

I went from Factory Atlantic Blue to Satin Black that also included some body work for $600. I provided the DuPont Satin Black paint/reducers/activators. Total was $800 since some custom red was added on to it.

Door jams included. Only exception was the inside bed and under the hood. Used a local person on CL. I am very happy with it. Other places ranges from 1500-5500. Paint was a big factor as the high ones were pricing PPG at 150 a quart which i am sure you would get your money for. I was actually going to go with John Deere Blitz Black which you can get the paint materials under $150. However that is if you want that route.

The difference between crankin the t-bars and gettin new keys is minimal, you will get more lift out of keys but both put added stress on the t-bars and stiffens up your front suspension. Keys are a waste of money imo several guys crank em and go without issues.

Didnt I tell you shiloh, its not the added stress on your t-bars, its the added stress on your cv's lol. just messin with ya man, but you do keep hopping in on the 4wd level kit discussions and saying that it will stress the t-bars... Ill give you another chance lol jk.

Twisting the bars adds stress, whether that hurts them or not is not the issue. The CV's do get stressed more as well and I agree 100% with you on that, but why do you think it rides rougher after it's leveled? They are stressed more! lol

Well, that's not the point, and that's why I'm not doin a t-lift. I'm doing a suspension lift, and what to know some costs is all.
