Ok, time to start a poll here! I have just started my summer break from college. I am home for a few months and started my summer job last week. So here goes. I am going to do a mod a week. Which would you do first? A homebrew CAI or order a set of 2" drop shackles? I will do both, I just can't decide which to do first.

 

do the drop first. i'm all about performance, but since you're doing both, go for the drop first.

 

I am super jealous that you are going to do a mod a week for the whole summer. Your truck is going to be all sorts of modded out by the end of summer.

I know exactly how you feel! I've been buying stuff every pay day and having it shipped back home so now I've got a garage full of mods to install. 2 finals down 3 to go!!!

I'd go with the shackles first since it is the pricier mod.

 

Yeah for the shackles first. You may be able to save a little if you buy used on the forum vs new.

 

I think I have decided to hold off on the CAI and install the drop shackles first. I'm tired of the back end sitting so much higher than the front.

 

Drop shackles take it from looking like a stink bug to level and mean. It's a good mod, even if you have to add airbags to get the payload/towing ability back.

 

i say drop shackles, besides a DIY intake is gonna be a cheap-o mod that you'll be able to talk yourself into in no time
