Default Shackles in the rear and spacers in the front?

Looking to level my truck without removing a spring, since I tow a boat.

2" shackles in the rear wont lower it 2", I know that

So if I add some spacers in the front, will this level itself out or just look silly?

Also, wanting to get better shocks for towing as well, any recommendations? Not looking for air pads.

Thanks
Dan

If you are going to be satisfied with just a level truck. I would recommend the shackle and remove the O/L spring to level the truck. Not knowing how heavy the tongue wieght is or what you might want to carry in the bed in the future. I would suggest a pair of airbags for those work/play days. That way you have the looks and the capabilities to do whatever you want.

Yes, I know, but it is the right way of getting to where you want to go.
I pulled my MC enclosed trailer without the o/l springs and didn't use the bags.

I was thinking about lowering shackles to give me the pre runner look with cranked torsion bars up front but i think it will lower it TOO much. I just need about 1" higher in the front or lower in the rear.

Ha ha, in your case maybe just the shackles and leave the o/l springs in place. IMO, The pre-runner look is a good look for a off road 2wd.

yea i know but i just wanted a little rake with the nose a tad higher than the back. I have airbags to but now im thinking of just taking out the o/l spring since i have the bags to stiffen the suspension when needed. Im just glad i don't have to pull the toy hauler anymore since thats what the dads f-350 is for now.

i was thinking about looking at shackles for the rear cuz my level kit was still about an inch short and it has settled a little bit. so i was thinking if i could drop a inch or so in the rear it would have me pretty much level. but i guess thats not a good idea cuz i aint tryin to have my nose in the air going down the road.
