^^ Haven't seen the old RF punch's in forever! Haha, good subs, for baseline models...

OP, a bigger box isn't really a bad thing. What is drawing you away exactly from a bigger box? Most fit under the seat without any modifications, so having a little more breathing room than what the subs call for isn't really a negative thing.

Ram Bo- I bet those Hx2's POUND! I had to 15's back in the day with a BD1000 pushing'em in my hatchback mustang. Not as loud as the 2 JLw6 18's I had, but it was a tight 2nd place.....

this is what i got for a stereo. I got 2 10" kicker cvr under the seat and a 10" pioneer in the middle of the seats and a 1500W kicker amp.

I got the box from visions. it was already made to fit right under the seat so i didn't have to get a custom one.

Animal your not the first peralson to say that about car toys. No matching color doesn't matter so much as a good quality sounding box. The 149 sounded pretty good since I would get the box molded to my truck and would look a little more custom .

I'm not so worried about the size if it not going to make. Good sounding sub sound like a bad fart do to too much air don't really know too much about enclosures I emailed him and he said he had a box for an 8 that had about .45 cube which a lot of people get and polyfill so much route do I go smaller and fill.or much bigger and nothing ?????/ no

Sure do, but I also raised the rear seat 1", and since I recessed the subs, they don't touch the seat at all.

Ya, I had them in my closet so I grabbed a cheap ebay box for them. That's when I decided that those boxes were crap, and I needed to build my own with the proper specs for the subs.

And I know it wasn't the old subs, I built this with scraps, and it sounded better than the 2 RF 12's. it actually sounded rally good!

Man you put a billion screws in that home built box lol! Down the road I would like to custom build a set up for 3 10" JL W3V3 subs, 1000-watt JL Amp, Alpine door speakers and head unit. Im gathering ideas now!
