What AFR setup are you using? Stock O2s are narrow band and usually wideband O2s come with the AFR kit you are buying.

An Innovate LC-1 wideband will run you about 150 new (cheaper used)

Don't waste your time hooking up a gauge to a stock sensor.

Also i had a friend of mine tell me i could hook it into my stock 02 sensor and be fine.....but hes gone through 2 trucks from moding them himself so im a little paranoid about doing so i just want somebody elses opinion on if it could be done or not.

What exactly are you trying to do and accomplish? What equipment or setup do you have already?

I gauge is only a readout device and nothing more. But again, what is it you are trying to do overall?
