2006 Ram 1500 Hemi Tire Size 4x4 HELP!!!
Hey all,
I just bought a 06 Ram 1500 Regular cab short bed 4x4 with the 5.7L Hemi. I have added a 2" front end leveling kit. I am going to be using the 17x8 Helo 835 rims and I was wondering what is the biggest tires I can run on my truck with this setup. I was wondering about the 285/70R17 or 35/12.50R17???? Please give me some info. The tires I will be going with is the Cooper Discoverer STT's. Please let me know or any pictures would really help with the similar setup. My rims are suppose to be here tomorrow (friday).

You can run 35x12.50 on that lift setup however you are probably not going to fit any tire wider than 10 or 11 inches on a 8in wide rim. Im running 35x12.50 on my truck now with the factory 20's and I have a 3.5in Fabtech which measured out to 4.5 inches after install. I have a friend running the exact same lift running 37x12.50 BFG m/t's and he gets rub on some turns(u-turn is not fun in it). I love my 35's, smooth ride, nice stance, and piece of mind when im in the woods
