thats a nice clean look, just pull it out when not needed. Very nice for the non 24 hr 4x4 driver in mind. great job hammer.

Well, the winch I had. Came off my truck when I upgraded. So I basically had $85 in the portable mount, $45 in the lights and $200 in the front receiver for the jeep. I still need to pick up a set of quick connects for the 2 gauge power wire so I can cut the power cables to make installation/removal easier and they'll run me about $20...

You are used to seeing them mounted either on a grill guard on a truck or a bumper mount on a Wrangler or CJ. This is about the norm for a receiver mount, aka "shin buster". There is NO permanent mount for a WJ Grand Cherokee short of fabbing something up or getting a complete front bumber/grill guard/winch mount for $2k+. But I like the ideal of being able to take this one off simply by unlocking the hitch pin (after I get the quick connects, of course)...
