Sounds like a great time. Wish we had that up here, upstate ny is kind a like that as well. Damn Ct. puritans. Well enjoy the mods you have. I'm still waiting on mine, couldn't do it in my driveway,I really don't wanna tear up the upper ball joint to install a strut. Not only once but twice. I know my limits. At least I gave it a try.

When I'm up the farm, we'll drag a bunch of dead trees, limbs, brush, etc. out the woods and have a big ol' bonfire in one of the fields (well at least in the fall/winter when nothing is planted) and do some serious muddin', but only with the ATVs. I've been known on more than one occasion to utter the phrase "hold my beer and watch this"!!!

bottom line is this ... a off-roaders "performance" is beefing up the rig to hold up and protect the truck . for those that want performance mods or "go fast mods" there opinions dont amount to a hill of beans because you are not "going fast" threw the timber ect . go fast mods are for street queens imo .

i, like you build a truck to go threw the timber ect . i dont need to go fast . i say go for it man will look **** and do what you want it to do .

Check out Ranch hands. they make real nice grill guards and also have bumpers with guards on them, kinda like the road armor bumpers

The road armors are wicked bad but they cost a FORTUNE.
